Who’s ready to raise some hell?

The wait is finally over for grappling gamers anxious to play WWE 2K16. 2K’s latest contribution to its best-selling WWE video game series hit shelves across North America Tuesday, offering WWE fans their-long awaited chance to recreate the action and excitement that can only be found in the WWE Universe.

Headlining the new additions to WWE 2K16 is 2K’s inclusion of the largest WWE video game roster in history. Gamers can now choose from WWE Legends like WWE 2K16 cover Superstar “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock, current WWE mainstays and Divas like John Cena and Paige, to NXT competitors including Finn Bálor and Hideo Itami. WWE 2K16 will feature a roster of 125 playable characters, which doesn’t include the forthcoming additions in 2K’s upcoming DLC packs.

An expansive roster isn’t the only thing that will help feed WWE fans’ need for virtual grappling action. This year’s edition also boasts a revamped MyCareer mode, which takes players from the developmental levels of NXT all the way to the WWE Hall of Fame. It includes a 2K Showcase mode dedicated to the rise of The Texas Rattlesnake, recounting his early days in WCW through his leading role in WWE’s Attitude Era.

A deeper Creation Suite offers new opportunities to create Superstars, championships and customized WWE events. And none of that even scratches the surface for the improved gameplay and controls, which will offer a more authentic WWE look and feel than ever before.

Now, it’s time for WWE fans to fight their way to the virtual top of the WWE Universe — and that’s the bottom line, ‘cause WWE 2K16 and 2K said so!
