WWE Superstars support Change.org petition to rename Calgary airport after Stu Hart

Stu Hart already had a wrestling school named after him. Now, an airport in Calgary could be next.

While debate rages in The Great White North over whether or not to rename the Calgary International Airport after Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, a grassroots movement has grown to instead rechristen the building after Stu, the late WWE Hall of Famer and Order of Canada recipient.

Change.org: Sign the petition for Stu Hart now!

A Change.org petition, created to stem the tide of “constant political infighting,” has already gathered almost 1,300 signatures as well as social media support from Chris Jericho, his granddaughter Natalya and his son Bret “Hit Man” Hart, all graduates of Stu’s infamous Dungeon school. With enough support, who knows? Maybe the next time you fly in to Canada, it could be through the Stu Hart International Airport.
